The football game between Ouachita Christian and Oak Grove is as good a rivalry as it is in the state of Louisiana. The 45 mile distance that separate these schools, could be 45,000 miles. That is how different these two communities are. The upper-class O.C.S. players are from the city of Monroe and all across other parts of north Louisiana, while O.G. players are from the rural areas in central West Carroll parish. In the eyes of most people in Oak Grove, it is "Good vs. Evil." I can proudly say that I was a part of this rivalry and I never lost to the Eagles.
  • Oak Grove is (18-6) against O.C.S.in football.
  • O.G. is (8-3) at Tiger Stadium against O.C.S, while going (10-2) in Monroe, and (0-1) in the Superdome.
  • O.G. lost 3 in a row from 1983-1987 and twice in one season in 1997.
  • O.C.S. has not beat O.G. since the state finals in the Superdome in 1997 by a score of 53-35. A stretch of twelve years.
  • O.G. has an (11-4) record against the Eagles in District play, while going (7-2) in non-district play.
  • The average points scored in this series by O.G. is 33.5 ppg. The average points scored by O.C.S. is 21.7 ppg.
  • Oak Grove has won by an average of almost 12 points per game.
