The correct score for the state championship game at St. James. 1979 St. James 14, Wossman 8 (OT) I was the cameraman for Wossman back then and it was a great game. The records has it 33-8.

Ray, I have a freshman football studyhall this year. 21 Freshman boys! I pulled this site up for them one day, and they loved it. It brought so much pride to them, and they loved seeing their dads, brothers, and uncles on here. Maybe some of them will make it on the site soon. Thanks, Brooke Duff (Freshman FB studyhall at OG) P.S. You actually coached one of these guys at West Ridge.

Check out the Kinder YellowJackets in 1978 season, 15-0. Took out J.C. in the semis and St. Louis in the championship, led by USL signee Trion Smith. Coached by Johnny Buck.

Ray, Great site. This makes me homesick. I'm glad you have such great pride in OG as your Family did. Tell them all hello from Texas from me and maybe we'll all ride horses again someday. There will never be another Roxie & Cricket.

Ray, this is a great site. And thanks for featuring Colt on the homepage. He has been waterboy since the 2nd grade and this year was his last. He starts playing Jr. High football next school year. So we have a lot to look forward to.

Ray, There is nothing like Tiger football on Friday nights! It has been too long since I have watched the Tigers play on Friday night. Your website has brought me as close as I ever may get again. Thanks Ray!

Just wanted to say great site. I have to mention though you do have an error in the coaches 200 win club. Head coach Parry Lalande has 208 wins.

Love the site had a hard time finding a good one. Of course OG born & raised but my son plays for West Monroe, he had a great coach in Good Hope Our Teacher Scott Lee. I wanted him to play for OG but WM has to much to offer him.

I played against Oak Grove from 99-01. I am from Port Sulphur and i must admit the 99 team is the best i ever played, and thats saying a lot. I have played against Marcus Spears in 2000, Skylar Green in 2001,and Chris Henry in 2001. They are all in the NFL. Do you have the 2001 state championship game? Mine got lost in hurricane Katrina. Great website you are a true fan like myself.
